About this test
A 16-statement self-report quiz about what you have noticed from your ex in the last couple of months. Four kinds of signal, four statements each: contact (who reaches out and how warmly), attention (stories, likes, staying connected, seeking you out), nostalgia (memories, missing you, warm words about the relationship) and interest in your life (asking about you, reacting to someone new, asking friends). You answer on a five-step scale from Never to Always, and your answers become one of four honest bands: Mostly moved on, Faint echo, Still thinking of you or Strong lingering feelings. The quiz only reflects what you have noticed. Signals can show that someone still thinks of you, but they cannot show what that person wants, and they cannot predict whether an ex will come back. Use it as a calm way to put your observations in order, and remember that moving on is a perfectly good outcome too.
Methodology
16 self-report items, 4 per dimension (contact, attention, nostalgia, interest in you), rated on a 5-point frequency scale from Never to Always. Score = round(total / 64 x 100), reported in four bands (0-34, 35-59, 60-79, 80-100). An original, informal instrument that draws on general themes from the research on post-breakup contact and attachment; it is not a validated scale, it measures only what the visitor has noticed, and it cannot show what an ex wants or predict reconciliation.
Possible archetypes
- Mostly moved on · A chapter that has closed
- From what you have noticed, your ex seems to have settled into life apart from you. That can sting, and it is also useful clarity.
- Faint echo · Some signs of connection
- A few signals show up now and then, but nothing steady. It is a real maybe and not a promise.
- Still thinking of you · Warm and unresolved
- Many signals suggest you are still on their mind. That does not mean they want to reunite, and only they can say what it means.
- Strong lingering feelings · Plenty of feeling on their side
- Most of what you notice points to strong lingering feelings on their side. Only they can tell you what they want.

FAQ + disclaimer
Does my ex still love me?
No quiz can answer that, and no honest one pretends to. Signals such as contact, attention, memories and curiosity can show that your ex still thinks about you. Only your ex can say whether that is love, nostalgia or something else, and whether they want to get back together.
Will my ex come back?
Nobody can predict it. Some exes reconcile and many do not. What matters is why the relationship ended and whether both people want to change and can. This quiz shows how strong the signals are today. It cannot tell you what happens next.
Does my ex checking my stories mean they miss me?
It can mean curiosity, habit or wanting to know you are okay, and it can also mean they miss you. On its own it is a weak sign. It becomes more meaningful alongside other signals, such as warm contact, memories and genuine questions about your life, which is why the quiz looks at the whole pattern.
How is the score calculated?
You answer 16 statements from Never (1) to Always (5). The answers add up to a score from 0 to 100, and the bands start at 0 (Mostly moved on), 35 (Faint echo), 60 (Still thinking of you) and 80 (Strong lingering feelings). The four bars show each kind of signal on the same 0-100 scale.
Should I try to get my ex back?
Ask yourself whether you want the same relationship again and whether the reasons you split have really changed. If you decide to talk, be honest and respectful, and accept the answer. Never pressure, guilt, track or try to make an ex jealous. If the relationship was unhealthy or unsafe, letting go is a good and brave choice.
What if my score is low?
A low score is not a verdict on you or on how much you were loved. It means your ex is not showing many signals right now. Moving on is a win for you too: it gives your energy back. Lean on friends, build routines you enjoy, and talk to a counselor or someone you trust if the breakup feels heavy.
