About this test
A strong spark can come with closeness, desire, daydreams or a mix. This quiz helps you notice which pattern stands out in your own feelings, without ranking them or deciding what the other person feels.
Methodology
16 self-report statements, four per pattern, on a five-point scale. Each adds 0–4 points to one pattern. Highest total wins; ties favour mixed, infatuation, attraction, then deep love. An original reflection exercise, not a validated measure or a prediction.
Possible archetypes
- Deep love · Care beyond the spark
- Emotional care and knowing the real person stand out.
- Mostly attraction · Chemistry takes the lead
- The physical pull stands out more than emotional closeness.
- Infatuation spark · The possibility feels electric
- Anticipation and imagination are doing a lot of the work.
- Mixed signals · Your own feelings need room
- Uncertainty or equally strong patterns make the picture less clear.

FAQ + disclaimer
Is it love or lust?
Love often includes care and knowing the person; lust centres on physical desire. They can overlap. This quiz reflects what you report, rather than declaring which feeling is real.
What is the difference between love and infatuation?
Infatuation can lean heavily on anticipation and an ideal picture. Love can include excitement while making more room for the real person, ordinary days and differences.
Can lust turn into love?
It can, but it does not have to. Time, mutual interest and getting to know each other may build closeness; physical chemistry is not a promise of commitment.
Can I be in love without strong physical attraction?
Yes. People experience attraction differently. Low physical desire does not cancel out emotional love, and no one owes anyone physical closeness.
How does this love or lust quiz choose my result?
Four statements feed each pattern, with 0–4 points per answer. The strongest pattern wins; ties use mixed, infatuation, attraction, then deep love. Equal answers default to Mixed signals, not a verdict.
