About this test
A 16-statement self-report quiz about the connection you share with one person, whether a partner, a crush or a close friend. Four dimensions, four statements each: ease (feeling at home, saying what you really think), growth (bringing out the best in each other), values (shared direction, honesty, repairing after conflict) and depth (feeling seen, curiosity, meaningful talk). You answer on a five-step scale from Not true to Completely true, and your answers become one of four honest bands: Still unfolding, A good match, A deep bond or Soulmate energy. There is no scientific test for soulmates, and the word means different things to different people. This quiz simply reflects how the connection feels to you today, and it cannot tell you what the other person feels or what the future holds.
Methodology
16 self-report items, 4 per dimension (ease, growth, values, depth), rated on a 5-point agreement scale from Not true to Completely true. Score = round(total / 64 x 100), reported in four bands (0-34, 35-59, 60-79, 80-100). An original, informal instrument that draws on general themes from relationship research, such as responsiveness, shared values and mutual growth; it is not a validated scale and it measures only how the connection feels to the person answering.
Possible archetypes
- Still unfolding · An early or quiet chapter
- Your connection is still taking shape. That does not make it lesser, it may simply be new or not yet deep.
- A good match · Easy, warm and promising
- You share real ease and goodwill. A lot is working, and a few things are still growing.
- A deep bond · Trust, ease and understanding
- Your answers describe deep trust, ease and understanding. This is the kind of connection people call rare.
- Soulmate energy · A rare kind of connection
- Almost everything you describe points to a rare connection: ease, growth, shared values and depth, all at once.

FAQ + disclaimer
How do you know if someone is your soulmate?
There is no scientific test. People use the word for a connection with deep ease, trust, shared values and a sense of growing together. This quiz checks those four things and shows how strongly each one is present for you today.
Can a quiz tell me if he is my soulmate?
No quiz can say that for certain. This one reflects how the connection feels to you, in terms of ease, growth, values and depth. It cannot know what the other person feels, and the answer to the question is something you decide together over time.
Who is my soulmate?
No quiz can name a person for you. If you have someone in mind, this quiz helps you read the connection. If you have not met anyone yet, the four dimensions here, ease, growth, values and depth, are a useful guide to what a deep bond tends to feel like.
Can you have more than one soulmate?
Many people feel deep, soulmate-like connections with more than one person, such as a partner, a close friend or a family member. The word is personal, and it does not have to mean there is only one.
How is the result calculated?
You answer 16 statements from Not true (1) to Completely true (5). The answers add up to a score from 0 to 100, and the bands start at 0 (Still unfolding), 35 (A good match), 60 (A deep bond) and 80 (Soulmate energy). The four bars show each dimension on the same 0-100 scale.
How do I find out if they feel the same?
The only reliable way is a kind, honest conversation. If you would like a calmer way to organise what you have noticed first, our crush signals quiz looks at attention, effort, warmth and body language, and can help you decide what to say.
