Who is responsible (data controller)

What we store locally

We use your browser's localStorage to save in-progress test answers so you can resume without an account. Saved progress is cleared when you complete the test. After the crush quiz, your last score (a number from 0 to 100 and the name of your strongest signal, no answers) stays on this device so the Love Pass page can show it; after 30 days it is no longer used and is deleted the next time that page reads it. It is never sent to us. Private result and comparison links contain encoded answers: our server receives and processes them to render the page, without an answer database. These links are not encrypted partner invitations; anyone with a result link can view its result. Share them only with intended recipients.

Analytics

Vercel Analytics counts page views without cookies on eligible pages. With your optional analytics consent, Google Analytics 4 measures public page views and may store analytics cookies. We send the public pathname, allow-listed campaign labels and the referring site origin (or a public internal path), without quiz answers, private links, other query values or fragments; Google also receives technical connection information. With the same consent we also count anonymous test steps (test started, test finished, result shared, Love Pass offer seen, clicked, checkout opened or cancelled) with only the quiz name, its category, the language and where on the page it happened. On result pages, whose address holds your answers, Google Analytics does not load; those steps, and the test-finished step sent as the result opens, go to Google through our server with your existing analytics client and session IDs and the same sanitized acquisition context, without your private query values, IP address or browser details. After a verified payment, a consented browser may save a hashed purchase reference, amount and currency temporarily in tab storage and report a purchase diagnostic on a later eligible page. A local marker prevents repeat reports in that browser; it is not a complete sales ledger. Advertising personalization signals are disabled for this measurement. Google Analytics does not load before consent or on private report and Birth Pattern flows. You can reject or withdraw consent through Analytics preferences.

Partner match on 18+ quizzes

On the 18+ quizzes you can invite a partner to compare answers. We create an invite link only after you tick the consent box. Your answers are encrypted inside the link itself; we do not keep an answer database. When your partner finishes, our server decrypts both sets of answers in memory to show you both the statements you both agreed with and your two result types, never either person's other answers, and then discards them. Anyone who has the link can take the quiz and see what you both agree on, so send it only to your partner. Invite and match links expire after 30 days. These pages load no ads or browser analytics from third parties and send no referrer. Our server sends cookie-free usage events such as "invite created" or "match completed" to Vercel Analytics. Invite and match event properties are limited to the quiz name and language. An optional report-interest event includes the language and displayed price. These events never include answers, results or links; Vercel also receives technical connection information such as the user agent and forwarding address.

Affiliate and partner links are marked as such next to the link. They do not change the price you pay, and they never change your quiz result.

Your quiz answers and results are never shared with advertisers, affiliate networks or merchants. When you click a partner link you go to the partner's own site, which applies its own privacy policy and may set its own cookies to credit the referral.

Birth Pattern data and controls

Birth Pattern keeps birth records, saved-person permission records, an optional current partner selection, and an adult affirmation in the sensitive local tpt:astrology:v1 envelope on this device. You can explicitly export this data or delete one person or all astrology data. An export does not include reflection, view, or connection history; it is never sent automatically and remains outside a later deletion. Place search uses a fixed same-origin GeoNames dataset that is filtered in browser memory, so typed or selected places do not go to a provider. No birth, person, chart, pair, or derived data goes in URLs, analytics, ads, payments, OG, TEST-YO!-controlled logs, cloud, or providers.

A non-sensitive astrology privacy marker and the sensitive envelope suppress Plausible, its preconnect, GTM, commerce, and Vercel Analytics while either is present. After delete-all, the current document does not load those vendors; only a later clean document can become eligible.
