About this test
Could you? Would you? Have you been close? 20 honest questions about your habits, attitudes and the truths you only half-tell — and one of four risk patterns that actually fits. Anonymous. No judgement, just naming.
Methodology
20 self-report items (5 per archetype) on a 5-point Likert scale. Items adapted from published research on commitment, drift and intent toward infidelity (Drigotas, Safstrom & Gentilia 1999; Attitudes Toward Infidelity tradition). Independent reformulation, not the official instrument.
Possible archetypes
- Loyal · Boring on purpose
- You'd rather have an awkward 2-hour talk than keep one tiny secret.
About: Loyal
Your dominant pattern is the Loyal. You do not hide your phone, you tell people early that you are taken, and a hard conversation feels easier than keeping a secret. The good part is trust. The risk is assuming everyone handles loyalty the same way you do. They do not.
- Tempted · Almost messy mode
- You drafted the message. You didn't send it. We're proud. We're watching.
About: Tempted
Your dominant pattern is the Tempted. You've felt strong attraction outside the relationship, you've replied to messages you'd hide, you've thought about what crossing the line would mean — and so far, you haven't. Most adults sit somewhere here. The good part is self-honesty. The risk is that "so far" is doing a lot of work — clear conversations with your partner about boundaries usually beat willpower.
- Wanderer · Long-haul allergy
- You start emotionally moving out around month 14. Like clockwork.
About: Wanderer
Your dominant pattern is the Wanderer. When the spark drops, your eyes start moving. You find monogamy harder than the people around you say out loud, and long-term commitment feels like the part of love you're worst at. This isn't a moral failure — but it is a pattern worth naming. Either build the kind of relationship that keeps your attention, or be honest about the structure you actually want.
- Repeat · Be honest, OK
- It's not a slip. It's a pattern. You can see it too.
About: Repeat
Your dominant pattern is the Pattern. You've cheated before, you've normalised it ("most people do at some point"), you keep flirty connections with exes, and current partners don't know everything. The good part is at least the honesty of taking this quiz. What helps is real and worth doing — usually with a therapist, not a quiz. It's also worth asking whether you actually want monogamy, or whether you've been signing up for a structure that costs more than it gives.

FAQ + disclaimer
Is this a clinical or predictive instrument?
No. It is a self-reflection quiz on attitudes, transparency habits and reported history. It is not a prediction of future behaviour and not a clinical assessment.
How is it scored?
Five items per archetype, rated on a 5-point Likert scale. Your highest-scoring archetype across the four is reported.
Should I share my result with my partner?
Up to you. The most useful thing the quiz can do is be a honest opener — not a substitute for the conversation itself.
How long does it take?
About 4 minutes — 20 short statements.
