About this test

Think about qualities that draw you towards someone, whether you are single or partnered. Rate what appeals to you now, not what you think your type should be. Several styles can fit. A reflection tool, not a diagnosis, a fixed identity or a compatibility guarantee. Low or tied answers do not show a clear type. Mutual choice and respect matter more than a label.

Methodology

16 original preference statements, five agreement choices. Points are (answer minus 1) × weight: four Calm anchor items use 3; three items per other style use 4. Each style ranges 0–48. Highest total wins; ties follow Calm anchor, Spark, Thinker, Caretaker, Free spirit. Low or tied totals are inconclusive. Not a validated attraction measure.

FAQ + disclaimer
What is my type in a partner quiz meant to tell me?

It names qualities you report finding attractive: calm, playfulness, ideas, care or independence. It does not identify an ideal person or decide who you should date.

Can an ideal partner quiz tell me who I am compatible with?

No. Attraction is a starting point; compatibility also involves mutual interest, values, boundaries and everyday behaviour. Someone can appeal to you without being a good match.

What if I am attracted to more than one type?

That is normal. The highest total picks your result, but ties and similar totals suggest a mix. The calm anchor appears first in a tie, even if every answer is low; that is a scoring fallback, not a discovery.

Does my type change over time?

It can. Experiences and priorities may change what catches your attention. Treat this as a current snapshot, not a rule that limits who you can like.

Can I take this quiz without dating experience?

Yes. Think about qualities you appreciate, without inventing a relationship or choosing a gender. You can also decide that romance is not something you want now.
