Holland's RIASEC model

Holland Code

A Holland Code is a three-letter summary of a person's dominant RIASEC career types, ordered by strength (e.g. SEC, IRA). It is used to match people to roles with similar environmental profiles.

The first letter is your dominant type; the next two modify it. Codes where the three letters are adjacent on Holland's hexagon (like RIA) indicate coherent interests; codes with non-adjacent letters (like RSA) are less stable and sometimes signal unresolved career uncertainty.
