Cognitive reflection

Cognitive reflection is the tendency to override intuitive but incorrect responses in favour of deliberate analysis. It is measured by the Cognitive Reflection Test (CRT), a short set of "trick" questions developed by Shane Frederick.

CRT scores correlate with reduced susceptibility to heuristic biases, better judgement in probabilistic problems, and — less robustly — with IQ. It is one of the most widely cited short measures in behavioural economics.
