O tym teście

A 16-item self-report quiz inspired by the Multidimensional Jealousy Scale (Pfeiffer & Wong 1989) — independent reformulation, not the official instrument. Maps you to one of four patterns based on cognitive, behavioural and emotional jealousy: Secure, Watcher, Possessive or Storm. Four items per archetype on a 5-point Likert scale.

Jak liczymy wynik

16 self-report items (4 per archetype) on a 5-point Likert scale. Inspired by the Multidimensional Jealousy Scale (Pfeiffer & Wong 1989). Independent reformulation, not the official instrument.

What the results mean

These four patterns describe the strongest match in your answers. They do not establish a fixed personality, explain the cause of jealousy or excuse harmful behaviour.

Secure
You describe trusting a partner and accepting their independent friendships without much monitoring. Notice what supports that trust while remaining willing to hear a concern. Feeling secure does not mean ignoring your needs or expecting someone else to need exactly the same reassurance.
Watcher
Worry and searching for clues feature strongly in your answers. Separate a known event from the explanation you have imagined, and respect the other person’s privacy. A direct question can provide information without checking messages or turning uncertainty into an investigation.
Possessive
Your answers include wanting to limit a partner’s time, contacts or freedom. Focus on the effect of those actions rather than using jealousy as a reason to control them. Name your feelings as your responsibility and respect their right to make independent choices.
Storm
Sudden, intense reactions stand out when jealousy appears. Notice the point where you need to pause before arguing or messaging, and return only when you can respond respectfully. Strong feelings do not justify hurtful words; taking responsibility includes repair and changing the behaviour.

How to use your result

Choose a step that fits your circumstances:

  • Separate what happened from the story you are telling yourself about it.
  • Pause before acting on a jealous impulse and choose a respectful response.
  • Ask about a concern without monitoring messages, location or friendships.
  • Take responsibility for controlling or hurtful behaviour and consider support to change it.

Możliwe typy wyników

Secure · Allergic to drama
Other people's exes don't live rent-free in your head. Healing is real.
Watcher · Forensic ex-stalker
You read the timestamp. You read the typing bubble. You read into everything.
Possessive · Mine-mine-mine
You confuse love and ownership. Your therapist has notes. So does your partner.
Storm · 0 to 100 in 3 sec
Zero to nuclear in three seconds. The aftermath texts are a whole genre.

Najczęstsze pytania + informacja
Is this the official Multidimensional Jealousy Scale?

No. It's an independent self-report quiz inspired by the public framework (Pfeiffer & Wong 1989). Not affiliated with the official instrument.

How is it scored?

Four items per archetype on a 5-point Likert scale. Highest-scoring of the four is reported.

Can I share with my partner?

Only if you want to and it feels safe. Sharing a label does not require sharing answers, and a partner does not owe access to messages, location or friendships to reassure you.

How accurate is this jealousy type test?

This is a self-reflection quiz, not a prediction or a validated assessment. It does not measure clinical severity, reveal a partner’s behaviour or excuse controlling actions.

Can my result change?

Yes. Habits, circumstances and the relationship you have in mind can change your answers. Notice changes in your actual responses rather than using a label as proof that a problem is resolved.
